I decided to walk to the local Rite-Aid in the evening. It was raining lightly. As I walked the 5 or so blocks I could see the western horizon was brighter.
I went into the Rite-Aid and browsed and didn't see what I wanted so I left.....
When I stepped outside there was a large rainbow in the sky in front of me!
I've only seen 2 or 3 in my life.
And this was a beautiful, bright, clear rainbow. I don't know if awe is the word, but I kept admiring it as I walked up the street.
I walked by 2 people at the bus stop and told them about it. The one lady said, "Aw, look at that.".
When I came back out of the next store, it was gone. :(
